Ariadne's Thread Group is a CIC providing free textile workshops and participatory projects to vulnerable communities. Their goal is to support adults and children who have limited access to culture, heritage, arts and crafts with particular focus on refugees and those with learning and communication difficulties. Their SEN activities are aligned with the national curriculum and promote the development of fine motor skills, as well as communication and social skills. Their integration programme brings people together and offers them a chance to share knowledge, skills, and common interests. Cross-cultural collaborations foster inclusion, cohesion, mental health and wellbeing.
