2. Scope
These terms apply to everyone using companymetrics.app. Purchases of datasets are also governed by our terms of sale & licence and refund policy. If there is a conflict, the terms of sale apply to purchases.
3. Using the website
You may browse and search the website free of charge. Search results are limited per query; complete lists are available to buy.
4. Acceptable use
- No automated scraping, crawling (other than by recognised search engines), bulk harvesting or systematic copying of the website.
- No attempts to bypass rate limits, disrupt or overload the service, or gain unauthorised access.
- No use of the website or data for unlawful purposes, including unlawful direct marketing, fraud or discrimination.
We may block access that breaches these rules.
5. Data source and accuracy
Company information comes from the Companies House public register and is filed by the companies themselves. We normalise figures and calculate derived metrics such as growth rates but do not verify the underlying filings. Information may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. It is provided for general information and must not be your only basis for credit, investment, legal or other important decisions.
CompanyMetrics is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for Companies House. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
6. Intellectual property
The design, software, text, classifications, derived metrics and compilation of this website belong to the operator. Your rights in the underlying public-sector information under the Open Government Licence are not restricted.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or withdraw features at any time.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law, nor your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, revenue or data, or for indirect or consequential loss, arising from use of the free website. Liability for purchases is set out in the terms of sale.

We may update these terms. The version published when you use the website applies.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Luxembourg law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring proceedings in the courts there. Otherwise the courts of Luxembourg City have jurisdiction. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any complaint.
