Winners Community group CIC exists to foster inclusion, improve well-being, and build resilience among elderly individuals within diverse communities in London and Birmingham. Our work addresses social isolation, health inequalities, and barriers to accessing essential services, which disproportionately affect older people from culturally diverse backgrounds. During the reporting period, the Company carried out the following principal activities: - Delivered over 20 culturally appropriate workshops focused on health awareness, nutrition, digital inclusion, financial literacy, and independent living skills. - Operated a community day centre service supporting over 50 elderly individuals, providing a safe and inclusive environment for social interaction and peer support. - Organised regular social and cultural activities, including shared meals, community gatherings, and cultural celebration events to reduce loneliness and isolation. - Provided one-to-one support and signposting services to assist beneficiaries in accessing healthcare, welfare benefits, housing, and social care services. - Delivered entrepreneurship training to over 60 older women, strengthening intergenerational resilience and community economic stability.
