Time To Grow! C.I.C.

In the year 2024/2025 Time to Grow has benefited the community in multiple ways We have planted over 500 annual and perennial fruit and vegetables across our 25 gardens in North London Embarked on a large new community garden in Clapton Recruited and trained 6 new volunteer coordinators Delivered a grant from the London Borough of Waltham Forest to expand our operations Collaborated with the wider Waltham Forest Food Growers Network to build a collaborative vision for the future of food growing in the borough Worked with the WF Right to Grow campaign to support new gardens to develop Worked with OrganicLea as part of the WalthamWild project, to monitor and protect biodiversity across our sites Supported The Gleaners Cooperative with fresh local organic vegetables for their running of a cafe in Walthamstow. Supported Curry Club, North London Action for the Homeless and Holy Trinity Food Share with fresh local organic vegetables Delivered 3 courses (each entailing 5 sessions) in urban food growing for people predominantly living in Leytonstone. This was funded by a grant by the Waltham Forest Adult Learning Service.
