The directors present their report for the year ended April/2026. Therapy Through Horses CIC was established to provide equine-assisted activities and therapeutic opportunities that promote physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing within the local community. During the year, the company remained in its development phase while working to establish the resources and infrastructure required to commence operations. A significant achievement was the securing of 14 acres of land, providing a permanent base from which the company can develop its activities. This represents an important milestone following previous difficulties in securing suitable facilities and will enable the organisation to progress towards full operational delivery. The company has also sourced suitable ponies to support its future programmes and welcomed a new youth volunteer. The directors believe that volunteering opportunities will provide valuable benefits to young people by helping them develop confidence, responsibility, practical skills, and community involvement. Throughout the year, the company engaged with a range of stakeholders, including local residents, volunteers, community members, directors, and local farmers. Feedback received was overwhelmingly positive, with stakeholders recognising the potential benefits the project could bring to the island community through improved wellbeing, social inclusion, education, recreation, and therapeutic engagement. The directors also held discussions with a local farmer regarding opportunities for cross-grazing sheep and horses. This collaborative approach has the potential to support sustainable land management, improve grazing practices, and allow areas of farmland to recover while maintaining productive use. The directors remain committed to developing Therapy Through Horses CIC in a sustainable and responsible manner and are encouraged by the strong support received from the local community. The company is well positioned to begin delivering activities that will provide lasting social, environmental, and community benefits. The directors acknowledge the support and encouragement received from volunteers, stakeholders, and members of the local community during this formative period. On behalf of the Board, --- Director: Anne Marie McPhilemy Date: 17/06/2026
