The principal activity of The Mighty Anglers CIC during the year was the provision of services designed to improve community wellbeing through the therapeutic medium of angling. As a Community Interest Company, all activities were undertaken for the benefit of the community rather than for private gain. To achieve this, the company's main activities comprised: The organisation and delivery of structured therapeutic angling programmes for Young People, vulnerable groups, including veterans and individuals with mental or physical health challenges. The provision of inclusive, community-focused angling events and workshops to combat social isolation and promote family-friendly recreation. The undertaking of environmental conservation projects, including waterway clean-ups and habitat restoration, alongside educational initiatives promoting responsible angling and environmental stewardship. The recruitment, training, and management of a volunteer workforce to support the delivery of our community programmes. The directors are satisfied that the company's activities have delivered a significant and positive benefit to the community, in line with its stated purpose as a Community Interest Company.
