The Kelp Conservation Initiative CIC
The Kelp Conservation Initiative’s principal activities including funding and overseeing marine habitat restoration projects, including the culture of native kelp species and ‘green gravel’ restoration, in partnership with academic institutions. This fiscal year we extended our programming to explore uses for seaweed waste to support a circular blue economy. Operations are focused on Scotland and England, with public communication and stakeholder engagement delivered via online meetings and through our website.
