The directors present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31 December 2024. OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES Objectives and aims Be a radio station providing local content for the people of Leicester. Providing updates on local news and events. Allowing local businesses and local people to be interviewed and put their point across. There will be the option for local businesses and events to advertise on the radio, at prices similar to industry standards, with a discount for more local advertising. The training we can offer to local people will allow them to present on the radio and will help them with their future careers. We have ran without any accreditation to an exam board, however we actively look as to whether we can run a formal qualification. STRUCTURE GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT Governing document Takeover Leicester Broadcasting CIC is a Company Limited by guarantee, governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association dated 16th December 2022. By concession the Company has been permitted to exclude the word “Limited” from its title.
