Street Whyze Project CIC

Over the past year the Managing Director of Street Whyze Project CIC has delivered a variety of interventions to over 7600 young people within schools, colleges and other establishments around knife crime, criminal exploitation, youth voice and racial discrimination. This has been in the form of awareness assemblies, group sessions, 1:1 mentoring and community support projects. Any funding received by the project has allowed this sought after and extra-curricular informal education service to be provided to establishments that otherwise would not have been able to benefit from them due to financial constraints. The work by Street Whyze has been supported and commissioned by Staffordshire Police, the Staffordshire Police & Fire Commissioner, East Staffordshire Borough Council and South Derbyshire District Council, alongside various schools across the region. Moving forward, the project objectives are to diversify services on offer, reach a wider audience and to maintain sustainability.
