Sports Key CIC

Sports Key have continued in our mission and engage people from the community across our various project and programmes. We have continued to deliver on our core activities of community football, netball, badminton and Table Tennis. We have engaged another cohort of volunteers, targeting young people from the community aged 16 – 25, taking them on a journey of increased qualifications, experiences and enabling them to gain hand on experiences through coordinating and supporting our programmes throughout the year. Sports Key has added Sports Key Kidz to its menu of community sport for 4-10 year olds to engage in multisport. Additionally, Sports Key have continued to engage with not just individuals but also other community based organisations through our community of practice. the Community of practice is essentially us leading a local ecosystem of diverse organisation leaders through capacity building workshops. All the aforementioned work is supported by our valuable advisory board to help guide and help us strategically place resources. Sports Key have also delivered cohesion events such as a the Sports Key social and also we have started to develop an initiative as a tradable service around workplace wellbeing.
