Over the past financial year, our company’s activities have delivered tangible benefits to a wide range of communities and the individuals within them. Central to this impact has been our Carbon Literacy training programmes, which we have developed and delivered to empower organisations in advanc-ing their Net Zero strategies. These programmes raise awareness of the climate crisis among partici-pants and their broader networks, providing not only general and global insights but also sector-specific knowledge. This includes identifying sources of carbon emissions in daily operations and outlining actionable steps to reduce them. We have also expanded our offerings to include additional training products, such as Climate Fresk, alongside supporting clients in implementing climate reduction strategies and pledges. By co-creating sector- or industry-specific content with our communities, we have fostered practical en-gagement and motivated meaningful emissions reductions. A key feature of our Carbon Literacy training is the requirement for participants to commit to two new and significant carbon-reducing actions as a direct result of the course. In other training pro-grammes, we support attendees in developing clear ‘next steps’ tailored to their roles. The signifi-cance of these actions aligns with the influence and agency of the learners within their communities. Following training, we have provided ongoing support to several organisations to help them imple-ment their pledges and fulfil their Net Zero commitments. This enables leaders and decision-makers to develop strategic, organisation-wide pledges, while others can focus on workplace or home-based reductions. By convening groups of participants, we have facilitated cross-organisational networking and in-ternal collaboration on emissions reduction—outcomes that attendees frequently cite as one of the most valuable aspects of our service. Additionally, we train members of organisations to cascade Carbon Literacy training internally, enabling the rapid and scalable dissemination of climate knowledge. During this financial year, we have engaged with communities across the following sectors (non-exhaustive): • Small business and communities (Climate Fresk funding) • Arms-length public body (including The Pensions Regulator) • Law firms • Education (including City & Guilds) • Infrastructure (including Network Rail) • Voluntary, community, and charitable organisations (including ECANN)
