Salt Arts CIC empowers businesses, individuals and communities working in the creative and cultural sectors in the South West. We provide essential engine power behind the scenes, including expertise and experience in marketing, research, fundraising, public engagement, evaluation and project management, for delivering projects. Principle activities this year: Opening Saltash Studios and launching a wide range of activities and trading income streams at the venue including: Co-work facilities for resident desk users and temporary hot-desk users. Saltash Studios Cinema with regular Friday and Saturday screenings. Creative workshops programme with different events delivered by local workshop leaders each week. Venue hire facilities for activities including group meetings, private film screenings, exhibitions, training, public engagement sessions and more. Makers Markets taking place each month and to coincide with other local events such as Saltash May Fair. Storage facilities for community groups and creative businesses. All activities support creativity and culture in Saltash and surrounding areas and provide trading income that covers the running costs of Saltash Studios. Other Salt Arts CIC activities this year have included: - Delivering arts consultancy work for Bloor Homes (Treledan Public Art Project). - Continuing to maintain visitsaltash.co.uk (27k views from 12k users during this financial year) – promoting and increase access to social and cultural activities across SE Cornwall.
