Salaam Peace is an award-winning, user-led community organisation that delivers sports and education programmes. The organisation aims to foster community, improve physical and mental wellbeing and inspire beneficiaries to “be the change in the community that they want to see”. Founded by Dr Sabir A Bham in 2009, Salaam Peace now delivers projects in Waltham Forest, Hackney, Haringey, Newham, Havering and Leicester.
