The principal activities of Roma Access Newcastle upon Tyne Association C.I.C. during the accounting period from 1 December 2023 to 30 April 2025 were focused on supporting and empowering the Roma and other marginalised communities in the North East of England. The company delivered a wide range of social, educational, cultural, and wellbeing-focused services, including: Community Drop-in Sessions: Regular sessions offering advice, information, and advocacy support on housing, education, healthcare, and welfare-related matters. Youth Engagement Activities: Provision of structured youth programmes including sports competitions, cultural outings, and personal development workshops. Women’s Support Group: Organisation of regular meetings and events to empower women, encourage peer support, and promote confidence and wellbeing. Holocaust Commemoration Events: Delivery of culturally significant remembrance events focusing on Roma history and human rights education. Music and Cultural Education: Music lessons and cultural enrichment activities that promote identity, creativity, and community cohesion. Community Representation and Advocacy: Engagement with local authorities and other stakeholders to represent Roma voices in public service development and delivery.
