Queerarts UK CIC

QueerArts UK CIC has continued to deliver on a number of different creative-based projects and performances, as well as being contracted to provide systems change consultancy specifically in relation to our expertise in the LGBTQ+ community and arts-based approaches. This work has specifically benefited the LGBTQ+ community by: Local LGBTQ+ people have been able to engage creatively in our LGBTQ+ choir, Rainbow Dance Nights, and world music collectively making up an average of 15 participants a week. The LGBTQ+ community have been able to attend LGBTQ+ creative events which reaching a combined attendance of over 1500. We have provided systems change consultancy, supporting organisations across the City of York to better understand how to support the LGBTQ+ community and have engaged in this in a creative way through workshops, multimedia collaboration, and creative approaches to organising as a community.
