Project Osiris was established with a clear mission: to pioneer technological and ecological innovation in service of environmental regeneration and community empowerment. While the company has remained relatively low-activity during the reported financial year due to the founder’s focus on launching its sister initiative, Ecosyn, Project Osiris has continued to serve as the philosophical and structural backbone for early-stage developments aimed at transforming UK-Wide ecological practice through open-access tools and nature-aligned intelligence. Despite minimal trading activity, the company has overseen several impactful research and development projects during the reporting period. These include: ForesterTools ForesterTools continues to be maintained and supported as an open-source QGIS plugin for the forestry sector. The platform provides free digital mapping and analysis tools to forestry professionals, ecological consultants, and community woodland groups across the UK, with additional international users. Development is currently focused on maintenance, stability, and incremental feature improvements driven by user feedback. By making advanced GIS tools freely available, ForesterTools is democratizing access to digital forestry intelligence, lowering entry barriers for small consultancies and volunteers engaged in woodland restoration and management. Branch Alexandria Development of Branch Alexandria is ongoing, with continued integration of AI-assisted retrieval and ecological knowledge systems to improve access to National Vegetation Classification (NVC) data. The project is scheduled to enter market testing in January 2027, where its natural-language search capabilities will be evaluated with ecological practitioners and surveyors.. This project is designed to radically increase accessibility to botanical knowledge, allowing anyone to engage with complex ecological data in plain English, breaking down the barrier between expertise and empowerment. Mobile Survey & Report Automation Development of the mobile survey and automated reporting pipeline continues in collaboration with land management and ecological professionals. Ongoing work is focused on refining field data collection, automated report generation, and workflow efficiency, with the aim of reducing administrative overhead while supporting high-quality ecological and woodland management assessments. Community Impact: This approach promises to reduce the administrative burden on ecologists and arborists, giving them more time in the field while producing higher-quality, data-driven reports for landowners and stakeholders engaged in conservation.
