People For People CIC

People for People CIC continued to deliver community-based support to migrants and diverse communities across Birmingham, with a focus on improving access to advice, wellbeing activities, and opportunities for social and economic inclusion. People for People CIC also contributed to strategic work at a city level. From January 2025, the organisation began delivery of a three-year contract as part of Birmingham City Council Public Health’s Deep Engagement Partner programme, focusing on engagement with the Romanian community. This built on previous work with Roma communities, including focus groups and data collection to improve understanding of community needs and inform public health responses. Through its activities, the organisation supported individuals facing multiple barriers, including language difficulties, limited access to services, and financial hardship. Beneficiaries were better able to access housing, welfare support and immigration advice, develop new skills, improve their wellbeing, and engage more confidently with local services. The organisation’s work contributed to reducing social isolation, strengthening community connections, and improving access to opportunities for underserved communities across Birmingham.
