Nottinghamshire Mining Heritage Centre CIC
The company has been hosting educational activities in the form of school vists and has been liaising with schools to further ensure the industrial heritage of the area and, in particular, the Clipstone Colliery, is preserved for future generations. Events have been held for the local community including summer activities. Volunteers from the local community have been involved in ongoing projects at the colliery and the buildings have been gradually improved to allow tours throughout the year.
