Nostalgia Nights CIC

In the financial year 2024/25, Nostalgia Nights CIC continued its work to support creative mental health and reduce waste through the ongoing development of the U SHIRT project and the Braintopia open art studio. During the year, the organisation’s activities benefited the community in the following ways: - U SHIRT creative workshops were delivered at the Tate Modern with QueerSwap and at an event with Studs, a women’s football collective, providing welcoming creative experiences for LGBTQIA+ communities and encouraging participants to reuse and personalise existing garments. - Braintopia provided an open and accessible art space where people could take part in creative activities, connect with others and spend time away from screens in a relaxed, low-pressure setting. - A donation of £1,000 was made to FFF, supporting its work and contributing directly to community-led activity. - An affordable community dinner was held in Whitechapel, giving local people an accessible opportunity to share food, meet others and strengthen social connections. - Across these activities, Nostalgia Nights CIC promoted creative participation, social connection and the reuse of materials, while continuing to develop inclusive spaces that support community wellbeing.
