The company also performs marine consultancy services including new building construction and supervision, design, specification, plan approval, vessel inspection for sales and purchases, damage survey, draught survey, "on hire - off hire" survey, bunkering of vessels and lubricating oils supply, purchasing of engineering spares and control of vessel safety regulations. The company's trading subsidiary undertaking, Caledonian Marine Services Limited, is involved in the provision of safety manuals, documentation and procedures for shipping clients.
