We continue to deliver a range of educational workshops and events which are open to members of the local community for free. These events teach community members how to grow mushrooms, identify wild plants and fungi and connect with the natural environment. Over the last financial year we have expanded our programme by reaching out to existing community growing groups and offering them training and assistance in incorporating fungi growing in their practices. This helps ensure better soil health, biodiversity, and a wider growing season for projects like these. We have expanded our online offer with lichen and slime mould study clubs, which have attracted engagement from around the world. In addition we have facilitated a repair cafe project to enable community members to reduce e-waste and prevent purchasing new household items. We have continued promoting Fungal biodiversity conservation through education and consultation. We have offered a programme of free mushroom and botany walks for LGBTQ+ people in the community. We are also currently engaged in wellness projects for LGBTQ+ people in relation to nature and ecology.
