Love Welcomes CIC employed 18 Refugee women for the first half of the year and invoiced their costs to LW Trading for products made,In Jan 22 the Trading company then employed the women and the CIC became grant based and profits generated were used to support other Refugee communities, whilst still supporting the Ritsona camp In Greece in the early part of the year,After a difficult trading year within Love Welcomes Trading Limited, to ensure the ongoing success of Love Welcomes, all activities were transferred back to Love Welcomes Community Interest Company from July 22.From July 22, Love Welcomes CIC employed a team of over 20 and continued to see success In selling hand made refugee products online and partnering with wholesale companies.
