While the CIC was set up in September 2024, it did not start any operationally activities until January 2025. The first significant activities were building a local AI community network in London and organising our first community event (LPB 25) which attracted over 500 participants. The community benefited through the collaborative nature of the event (in summary a 20 day AI hackathon across six mission categories with financial and technology prizes for the winners and 2nd place teams.The event was funded from technology eco system sponsorship fees The 2nd half of the year comprised of a number of AI Engineering meet-ups (typically 60 people )
