Keystone Wellbeing Services C.I.C.

Keystone Wellbeing Services CIC is a subsidiary company of Tyneside Women's Health. The Board of Trustees of the parent charity chose to set up a trading subsidiary with the sole purpose of supporting the charity to diversify its income streams. Keystone Wellbeing Services CIC will initially provide counselling and wellbeing services to individuals and employers. Keystone Wellbeing Services CIC was set up originally as Tyneside Counselling Service CIC, the Directors felt this name did not reflect the true potential of the Company. A large focus of the year was spent underpinning the rebrand to ensure the CIC is future proofed and that further development and expansion is possible into areas such as corporate training, coaching and mentoring. Via the parent charity a grant was secured through the Enterprise Development Fund to support the business planning process and website development of Keystone Wellbeing Services CIC. We are now in the process of a strategy refresh in line with the parent charity, a soft launch has taken place, and a formal launch will take place in the coming year to generate referrals and income. Keystone Wellbeing Services CIC is led by a Board of Directors, one is a Trustee of the parent charity, one is employed by the parent charity as Chief Executive Officer, and one is independent. The Board of Directors reports directly to the Board of Directors / Trustees of the parent charity. We look forward to formally launching the company in the coming year and accepting the first referrals.
