The principal activity of the company is the letting of holiday accommodation. Results and dividends The results are shown on pages 3 & 4. The directors do not recommend the payment of a dividend. In February 2012 the company purchased its current property, a detached house in Vale do Lobo, in the Algarve. This underwent a major refurbishment in 2018, apart from the kitchen, and the kitchen was completely re-modelled in early 2025. The company has bounced back from the sharp drop in lettings during the covid pandemic. The letting income in 2024-25 hit a new record of £22,484, with a growing proportion of repeat bookings, and many complimentary comments from our clients. During the early part of 2025 a major upgrade of the kitchen was undertaken, and the previous gas-powered water heater was replaced by a new electric one. These substantial expenditures led to a loss for the year of £49,441 (2023-24: £22,014). The directors are pleased with this result, and with the further upturn in bookings for 2025-26.
