During this period DancingStrong Movement Lab have engaged with activities that have benefitted communities across the UK, with a focus on children and their families through the following: - Touring performances to 5 venues in the UK - Performance-workshop experiences in schools and community centres - sustaining local (London and South-East) and expanding partnerships in the North of England The company maintains a focus on providing dance-arts opportunities for young families, the elderly, low and non-waged adults, Black, D/deaf, neurodivergent, and LGBTQ+ communities.. Partnerships have been sustained with IRIE Dance Theatre (UK) through the role of Associate Artists and the provision of DSML’s Graduate Apprenticeship Programme, with new relationships developed with Northern School of Contemporary Dance (Leeds) and Primary schools in West Yorkshire this year.
