Claydon Cycling Club CIC

A small cycling club located in a rural village, aimed at getting people out there together in good company and enjoying safe and sociable rides.- promote safe space for like-minded individuals to join together to go for a bike ride- ran a series of workshops in the village for any member of public to attend free of charge to cover simple bicycle maintenance, such as changing a tyre, how to perform a safety check on your bicycle before going for a ride, how to check your helmet fits correctly.- ran a series of bicycle safety sessions with local youth club, beaver, cub and scouts groups - promoting safe cycling with poster competition, helmet checks and bicycle checks and how to get prepared for a safe ride.- ran an academy workshop over 4 weeks to give opportunity to people to build up their confidence and skill set to safely cycle on the road in a group setting.
