Castleton Community Playgroup Community Interest Company

We are a small business that runs a local playgroup for the community.We are funded by the local authority for children and their parents who cannot afford private nurseries. Our children come to us in readiness for school where we teach them the early years foundation which then in turn helps with school transition. We work closely with the local authority if we pick up any children we think may be struggling with learning difficulties, where we can help parents to understand the help that may be needed and help point them in the right direction. We operate 5 afternoons a week so the children can get their 15 hours of free childcare.
