Castle Leisure Ltd
The Company’s principal activity for the period was the operation of bingo clubs, the provision of electronic entertainment and bars and catering services within them. Additionally, the Company received rental income from investment properties. The Directors do not anticipate any likely changes in the company’s trading activities in the current year. Business review Our clubs grew revenues and profitability through 2025. Inflationary pressures continued to impact on business expenses, particularly in relation to payroll costs. The Company is strongly cash generative with minimal exposure to risk in relation to debtors. Cash flow is monitored daily as part of control procedures. Trading conditions across the sector remained challenging, with a further decline in the number of bingo clubs in 2025. The Directors anticipate further consolidation within the bingo market in the near term. The Company has been actively assessing expansion opportunities and acquired a further four freehold properties during the year . The Company strategy is to enhance the customer visit by providing an enjoyable value bingo based leisure experience to a diverse customer base. We continue to reinvest into our clubs and implement new innovations and technologies to generate operational and cost efficiencies and to drive long term revenue growth. This has led to an outperformance of the UK bingo market with the underlying Profit Before Tax 36% ahead of last year. 10 clubs grew profitability compared to 2024, with seven clubs achieving an all time record high in profit contributions .
