Callum & Treasures CIC
The principal activities of the Company during the financial year were to promote literacy, learning, and positive engagement with reading among children and families within the local community. The Company achieved this by designing, producing, and selling children’s books and toys at community fairs and events. Surpluses generated from these activities were reinvested to support community initiatives, including the free distribution of books and toys to children and families who may otherwise have limited access to such resources. During the year, the Company also produced and shared educational posters containing meaningful messages and practical tips aimed at encouraging parents and children to read together. In addition, the Company donated books to community libraries and worked to promote playful and inclusive reading experiences within the community. The Company continued to develop new toy designs to expand its product range, with the objective of further supporting its mission to encourage learning through play and reading. The directors confirm that all activities undertaken during the year were carried out in furtherance of the Company’s community interest objectives and in compliance with the asset lock.
