Ageable CIC

The company runs Ageable CIC, and has used design (service, system, product and communication) to improve the current organisations that provide services to people as they age. The company's activities are firmly focussed on maintaining people's quality of life as they age and continue to be. Through our collaborations over this period with 1 main projects, Supporting Shared Lives Plus as part of their Shared Lives Plus Innovation Funding for their dementia pilot, to run a version of what Shared Lives ethos: A day programme to support people with dementia to keep doing things that bring them joy, even after a dementia diagnosis, where traditionally these things become harder for people with dementia and their supporters. In our capacity, we supported the evaluation team to co-design a way of capturing people’s stories through the programme through the delivery of workshops with various stakeholders, which led to the design of a digital diary to capture people’s stories.
