We have been supporting and empowering women for over 8 years, we support women especially those who are non-English speakers to integrate into employment to better themselves especial financially. Our mission is to empower women to thrive through training, employment, self-employment, and wellbeing support to better themselves. We have a business centre at the heart of Little Hulton Precinct, which is a safe and welcoming space where women can develop new skills, gain qualifications and take steps toward starting their own business journey. We also know that confidence and wellbeing are key to success; That’s why we provide a range of wellbeing services including massage, art classes, yoga, and supportive talking groups. All these are designed to reduce stress, build resilience, and bring women together. Over the past financial year, we have been supporting our Little Hulton community and other neighbourhood communities through different projects and events. Through our support, we have touched our community in different ways, such as:- WELLBEING ACTIVITIES We had ViweFinder Art classes, where women self learns about art through ViewFinder techniques. Women’s coffee morning, where we talk about general health for women as such menopause session, health key messages, breast cancer awareness as well as health for the whole family. Heart Hero Project, we bring awareness to the community about healthy heart, promote signs and tips for CVD disease as well as trained community on how to know your number as well as how to take blood pressure. COMMUNITY EVENTS Massage pop up spa, we have had these events at every end of the month to give the opportunity to the community to access massage treatments as well as build clients based to our newly qualified therapists. The Lowry Event, we took part at the Lowry event celebrating 25th years of their journey. We display our ViewFinder Arts products and take part in presentation. International Women Day and Women Valentine Day, these events celebrate our women with their commitments, powerful and inspiration in our community. Black History Month, this is our annually event to celebrate, bring awareness to the community about Black History Month as well as give appreciation to those who deserve in our community. Inclusive Culture Event, this event brings awareness to the community regarding different culture we have in our community and how we can work, communicate and interact together. TRAINING AND WORKSHOP Swedish Full Body and Hot Stone Massage, we have training 48 women and all are qualified as massage therapists. Business Workshop, these workshops prepare our newly qualified therapists to start their self-employed journey. Women and Girls Empowerment, this project support women to build their confidence, goal setting, inspiration, empowerment and networking.
