The company's principal activity continues to be that of the manufacture and wholesale of candles. Wax Art Ltd (“the Company”) manufactures and sells scented and unscented candles and related home fragrance products to retailers, wholesalers and online customers in the United Kingdom and selected export markets. The Company sources wax, fragrances, wicks, glassware and packaging from a small number of approved suppliers, and undertakes blending, pouring, finishing and packing activities at its production facility in Essex. Finished products are sold under the “Wax Art” brand and on a private label basis for certain key retail customers. The business model is to design and develop differentiated, high quality and safe candle products, maintain efficient and flexible manufacturing operations, and build long term relationships with retail and distribution partners, supported by a growing direct to consumer online channel.
