The Group has two operating entities authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to conduct insurance services. The principal activity of the Group continues to be insurance and (re)insurance broking in the marine, property, casualty, speciality and delegated underwriting authority markets, and as an MGU operating MGAs. The Group conducts broking business on both a wholesale and retail basis but does not currently act for private individuals. The separately regulated MGU underwrites (on behalf of major insurance companies) commercial business and does not currently underwrite personal lines.
