Thoresby Park Polo Club C.I.C.
Company Activities and impact. In the past 12 months Thoresby Park Polo Club has provided a safe place for the community to enjoy the outdoors, interact with horses and get involved in a sport that many think is beyond their reach and unaffordable. Thoresby Park Polo Club is one of the cheapest clubs in the country when it comes to membership and works closely with the polo academy often giving free lessons for raffle tickets at charity events, members taking part in charity matches and subsidising some children’s lessons through the polo academy. The club caters to people of all ages and abilities and offers a place for families to enjoy a day out with their children when spectating at matches and tournaments. Consultation with stakeholders. The stakeholders of the club are the members who get given the opportunity to be on the committee. Committee members discuss ways to improve the club as well as how it can further benefit the community and keep polo affordable to the members as well as the public that are interested in learning how to play polo. The committee aims to make the great sport of polo accessible to everyone that shows interest. Directors' remuneration. No remuneration was received. Transfer of assets. No transfer of assets other than for full consideration.
