The Olive Hut CIC
We have been running 1:1 mentoring sessions for young people who either adopted, in foster care or under special guardianship. This has included meeting with them in school and within the local community, with some activities. This has helped them attain a better mental health and wellbeing, which has impacted different parts of life - this includes school, home life and peer relationships. We have also ran a group mentoring - peer group for the same demographic of young people. This has been successful and we hope to run another one. This has also been a support for parents.
