The Nurturing Hands CIC

The project aims to combat loneliness and social isolation among elderly members of the Vauxhall community by providing a weekly Fish and Chips club, where participants can socialise, enjoy a hot meal, play with popular board games, and learn about technology that can assist them in their daily lives. The project also offers exercise opportunities, such as dancing or walking in local parks, and provides a safe, inclusive, and culturally appropriate space for the members to share their problems. Additionally, the project offers weekly escort services to and from hospitals across London, as well as assistance with basic cleaning and shopping tasks when needed.
