Training to social housing, employability, energy, finance professionals and community and voluntary sector people and organisations nationwide with a North East focus, to increase understanding and awareness of challenges faced by people claiming welfare benefits, and most particularly Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment, and associated with housing rights and responsibilities, with the objective of mobilising this specialist knowledge through the system to reduce the impact of poverty and the likelihood of financial crisis.
