Settle Community and Business Hub provides a focal point and facilities to foster greater local community activity and bring residents, the local community, and smaller organisations together to improve community links, business networking and the quality of life for residents in Settle and surrounding villages. In this financial year our activities included - - Community Fridge - Public Living Room social events at Settle Quakers - Advocacy support and help with finances, especially energy and phone bills and social tariffs - Community Allotment - Hosting monthly COBRA meetings for Settle organisations - Our office also provides a venue for a range of groups and services including pop up banking with Barclays and Lloyds, a regular mental health support group, craft and educational activities - low cost room hire for businesses and community groups - Business training, networking and liaison with other business organsations
