During the year up to 30 November 2025 we continued to provide access to free legal and mediation advice article to separating parents. These were read many thousands of times. We continued our work in making sure ‘the best interest of the child’ was front and centre in almost we do. Particular activities included: Training professionals who work with separated parents in issues like attachment theory and child development. Hosting the UK's first ever Children, children, children conference in Mary Ward House, London. A conference dedicated to ensuring better outcomes for all children experiencing parental separation. We also ran a further conference at Reading University where we were able to offer free places to law students. This was greatly appreciated by both the students and the faculty of law, in particular, Prof Amanda Milimore. Furthering this child-focussed approach to all we do means we also spent a large amount of time developing new parent-friendly ‘tools’ that they can use to guage how their children are doing both during and after the separation. These are due to be launched in the next financial period. All tools have been piloted with both parents and professionals.
