Neway International Limited
The director presents the strategic report for the year ended 30 September 2025. The principal activity of the company is that of recruitment and staffing services. During the financial year, Neway International continued to build on the integration of the operations of recroot Ltd, its sister company within the group, into its own business structure which had been completed during the previous year. Having brought those operations together, the Company geared up for the sale of its industrial client assets, which was intended to take place early in the next accounting year. The preparation for this transaction required a significant amount of management focus, staff time and organisation, including the review of client arrangements, operational processes and the orderly planning of the proposed transfer. The Company also continued to work on and invest in the development of a freelance staffing app which is expected to operate through its sister company, recroot Ltd, in the forthcoming year. This investment represents a forward-looking commitment to digital innovation and to broadening the group's service offering as the business develops its technology-led staffing model. Despite ongoing challenges in the recruitment and hospitality sectors, Neway International has continued to demonstrate resilience. The Company remains focused on operational efficiency, digital investment and organic growth. The Director remains confident that this strategy, together with the planned disposal of the industrial client assets and the continued development of the recroot platform, positions the Company well for long-term success, even in the face of economic uncertainty. Financial key performance indicators The Company's key financial and performance indicators during the year are as follows: 2025 2024 £ £ Turnover - £ 14,150,805 14,129,705 Turnover increase - % – 39 Gross margin - % 9 11 (Loss) / profit before tax - £ 23,387 189,916 Financial instruments The Company seeks to ensure that amounts received from customers are aligned with the related employee costs and other outgoings for each contract or assignment undertaken, with the aim of avoiding losses on individual engagements. Bank receipts and payments are monitored closely and reconciled on a regular basis. Financial risk management objectives and policies The Company aims to manage its working capital within the limits of its agreed invoice discounting facility. As both sales and supplier arrangements are UK based, the Company has not entered into hedging arrangements in relation to trade debtor or creditor risks. The bank remains satisfied with the Company's financial position and the director does not consider there to be a current risk of the facility being withdrawn.
