Communities enjoyed the benefits of our wildlife gardening activities with an ever-growing number of groups – including; Volunteer gardening for GWR at Freshford station, Friends of Freshford, further collaboration with NatureChain.co.uk, Quakers Walk meadows, Sustainable Calne with Calne Town Council , Wild Bunch Frome and Patchwork Meadow Birmingham We continued an active dialogue with the communities we serve through our partnerships with organisations such as the RHS, Nature Chain, Westwood Biodiversity Group, Greening Devizes, Nursteed Pond Biodiversity Group, Friends of Freshford, Nature Chain, National Honey Show and Patchwork Meadow Birmingham. Feedback from communities, particularly from residents in areas where are we are very active are increasingly important. Projects such as Quakers Walk Biodiversity Group rely on regular community contact via an active Facebook group, with surveys/questionnaires. Close contact with Town & Parish Councils is also essential..
