## Directors' Report – Principal Activities of the Company The principal activity of Barimigol CIC during the year was the promotion of community wellbeing through affordable food, cultural engagement, and community events. The company organised community food initiatives, including a **£1 Community Lunch** programme, providing affordable, freshly prepared meals to local residents, particularly those experiencing financial hardship, social isolation, or food insecurity. Barimigol CIC also organised **Korean street food events**, cultural activities, and educational programmes that promoted healthy eating, cultural exchange, and community cohesion. These events supported local independent businesses, artists, musicians, and volunteers while introducing Korean culture to the wider Bristol community. The company continued to work towards its community interest objectives by encouraging social inclusion, supporting local enterprise, creating volunteering opportunities, and bringing people together through food, culture, and education. The directors consider that the company's activities throughout the year have continued to provide a positive social benefit to the local community and are consistent with the company's Community Interest Statement.
