The principal activity of the company is to provide support services to Arrowgrass Capital Partners LLP. The company also acts as a designated member of Arrowgrass Capital Partners LLP and Arrowgrass Capital Partners II LLP.As explained in note 2.1 and previous year’s financial statements, on 13 September 2019 Arrowgrass Capital Partners LLP (the “Investment Manager”) announced the decision to return investors’ capital from all legacy investment funds (“the Legacy Funds”) managed by the Investment Manager. The Investment Manager, in conjunction with the Directors of the Legacy Funds accordingly resolved that the Legacy Funds were to be managed with the objective of realising assets in an orderly manner and distributing the proceeds to fund investors. Since this decision was taken, the company has taken action to reduce its cost base whilst retaining the operational capacity to achieve an orderly wind down of the Legacy Funds. Only those employees considered necessary to assist with the remaining wind down of the Legacy Funds were retained.
