Alcohol Health Network CIC

The company is a CIC, a social enterprise registered with Social Enterprise UK, and a not for profit organisation. Alcohol Health Network (AHN) is a based social enterprise, set up in 2012, which aims to support employers and local authorities to promote alcohol awareness and reduce alcohol harm in local communities and across workforces. It provides a range of alcohol services and initiatives for local authorities and employers in England.AHN uses evidence-based approaches recommended by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) to reduce alcohol harm and improve health, well-being, and productivity.During 2022-23 AHN worked with several new organisations and continued to support individuals to find out more about their alcohol consumption. Activities included promoting websites for local authorities, the 30-day Drink Less email programme for individuals and new online alcohol awareness webinar sessions for workplaces. In total, AHN worked with several companies and local authorities and provided online education and support to over 1,200 individuals.
