We have continued to deliver an externally assessed qualification to a variety of practitioners engaging with people who have faced any kind of disadvantage who need support to help them make their desired changes for improved social, economic, physical and mental health outcomes. This has included practitioners in school settings, social prescribers and practitioners in a London based service engaging with families and young people experiencing a range of challenges. Practitioners from the London-based service were given reduced fees to take into account the charitable status of their organisation. Members of the company have continued to provide low cost introductory training to practitioners in a variety of services working with people experiencing disadvantage. Having now provided a third year of training, we have equipped over 400 members of staff to empower and support people in a range of disadvantageous situations to make changes in their lives. These include vulnerable children, young people with mental health issues and behaviours leading to social exclusion, and parents with mental health issues, addictions and other challenges.
