ENGIE is a global energy and services group operating in the three key business sectors of low-carbon electricity generation (with particular emphasis on natural gas and renewables), energy infrastructures and customer solutions. The principal activities of the company are to provide specialist building services in the areas of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP), ICT, sustainability and other related services, mainly to the Data Centre industry players. As a global company, RED has led the drive towards zero carbon across multiple services and sectors for two decades. As a secondary business stream, RED carried out the decarbonization consultancy and data management services under the trading name “Engie Impact”, inherited from its integration to Engie Impact Business Unit from 2019 until 31st December 2022, when RED Group was transferred to Tractebel Business Unit. In April 2024, this business stream was transferred to Engie Impact UK Limited, part of Engie Impact Business Unit (see Note 25).
