Through six nursery settings, across areas of deprivation in Plymouth:Stonehouse,Devonport, Morice Town, West Park, Cattedown and Peverell we have provided Early Years Daycare Services for more than 360 children and families in areas of significant need. Through the six nurseries the CIC has been improving the quality of Early Years education, learning and development for children and improving parents understanding and engagement in their children's education, learning and development. The CIC has provided childcare placements, to support parents engagement in their own education, training and return to work activities. Particularly parents and children whose first language is not English.The CIC has delivered education and training activities to beneficiaries from local communities who are surviving the trauma of domestic abuse. The CIC provides affordable training/ meeting space for other comminity organisations to deliver activities for the benefit of the community.
