Beewirral CIC

Bee Wirral CIC is a support service for families and hard to reach individuals in Birkenhead and surrounding areas. There are three main projects this year; The refresh project takes referrals from professionals and provides good quality household essentials to those who need it for example beds, sofas and white goods. This is free of charge and can help families who have had to suddenly move, individuals who have previously been of no fixed abode etc The Elemental project is a programme of activities for men to support improved mental health and reduce the occurrence of suicide attempts. The sessions include; woodwork, allotment groups, social get together and adult learning. We offer supervised and unsupervised family support sessions for non-resident parents that for a variety of reasons need a space or plan to be able to see their children. This supports the whole family to nurture relationships while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children is paramount. We offer other groups and activities to support a sense of community and reduce social isolation, theses include; a history group, social café spaces, adult education and craft group.
